Chloé Danielle Castro, Esq.

Founder & Attorney | CD Law Pro, P.A.

Chloé Danielle Castro  is the founder of CD Law Pro, P.A., a woman-owned law firm dedicated to providing strategic, aggressive, and highly personalized legal representation in criminal defense and civil litigation. Chloe’s passion for advocacy began long before she became an attorney. She studied Marketing and Communication Arts at Florida International University, majoring in Political Communication. During her undergraduate studies, she served as President of FIU’s nationally competitive Debate Team and earned numerous awards, including 1st Place National Speaker. It was through competitive debate that Chloe discovered her talent for advocacy and developed the foundation for the courtroom skills that would later define her career.

Chloe earned her law degree from Vermont Law School, where she received numerous Dean’s List honors, earned the highest grade in Corporate Law, and was selected to compete on the school’s Mock Trial Team. Following law school, she received the International Trial Lawyers Association Award recognizing her excellence in trial advocacy.

Her legal career began on the other side of the courtroom. Chloe completed a full-time externship with the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office in Boston, Massachusetts, where she handled significant litigation and successfully argued issues of first impression at the trial court level involving the alleged collateral consequences of a defendant’s valid plea offer.

She subsequently joined the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office as an Assistant State Attorney, where she prosecuted thousands of cases ranging from DUI and misdemeanor offenses to serious violent crimes involving deadly weapons and significant bodily injury. Chloe gained extensive courtroom experience representing the State and victims, handling complex legal issues, negotiating cases, and preparing cases for trial. Following her exemplary performance as a prosecutor, she was selected as a Division Leader in the Misdemeanor Unit, where she supervised and trained incoming attorneys. She has served as both first chair and second chair in numerous jury trials.

That experience fundamentally shaped the way Chloe practices criminal defense today.

Having spent years building cases from the prosecution’s side, Chloe understands how prosecutors evaluate evidence, identify weaknesses in a defense, assess credibility, negotiate resolutions, and prepare cases for trial. Today, she takes that experience and turns it toward protecting her clients. She knows what the prosecution is looking for because she once did the same work—and she uses that perspective to anticipate the State’s strategy, challenge its evidence, identify weaknesses in its case, and develop a defense designed around each individual client.

After leaving the State Attorney’s Office, Chloe expanded her litigation experience by joining a civil defense firm, where she represented individuals and businesses facing negligence claims and significant financial exposure. Her civil litigation practice further developed her skills in case valuation, litigation strategy, negotiation, and mediation. She has achieved successful outcomes for clients both inside and outside the courtroom.

Through CD Law Pro, P.A., Chloe has brought together her experience as a prosecutor, criminal defense attorney, and civil litigator to provide clients with sophisticated, strategic, and trial-focused representation. Her practice is built on the belief that every client deserves an attorney who will prepare relentlessly, communicate candidly, and never lose sight of what is at stake.

Legal Education & Public Advocacy

Chloe is also a prominent legal educator and commentator. Through her popular Instagram account, @cdlawpro, which has grown to more than 24,000 followers, she regularly educates the public about criminal law, constitutional rights, the criminal justice system, and current legal issues. Her goal is to make the law understandable and accessible to people who may otherwise have difficulty navigating it.

She has also appeared on numerous podcasts and media platforms as a legal commentator, discussing criminal law, current legal issues, and high-profile cases. Chloe has been featured multiple times on Megyn Kelly’s True Crime Podcast, among other media appearances. Her ability to explain complex legal issues in a clear and compelling way has made her a respected voice on criminal justice and litigation matters.

Chloe is deeply committed to supporting the next generation of attorneys and mentoring young women pursuing careers in law and professional leadership. She is actively involved in the legal community and is a member of the Florida Bar, Palm Beach County Bar Association, Palm Beach County Hispanic Bar Association, Federalist Society, Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (FACDL), Palm Beach Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (PBACDL), and Florida Association for Women Lawyers (FAWL). She serves on committees with both FACDL and FAWL.

Chloe’s commitment to service extends beyond the legal profession. In 2016, she successfully developed, pitched, and secured $80,000 in funding for a solar energy project at Camillus House, one of South Florida’s oldest homeless shelters. The project installed solar panels and retrofitted the shelter’s interior lighting, combining sustainable development with community service.

When she is not advocating for her clients, Chloe enjoys spending time outdoors, visiting farmers markets with her family, and spending time with her Italian Greyhound-Chihuahua.

At CD Law Pro, P.A., Chloe brings a prosecutor’s insight, a litigator’s experience, and a defense attorney’s commitment to protecting her clients.
